University achievements

Grodno State Medical University was the first among the medical universities of the Republic of Belarus to receive international institutional and program accreditation of educational programs by the Independent Agency of Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) for compliance with the standards of the World Federation for Medical Education. The first university in Belarus, which received a positive assessment of an external expert international commission.

Grodno State Medical University was recognized as the winner in the "Education" nomination according to the results of the "Best Exporter of 2019" competition held by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

For its achievements in the field of education, the University was recognized as the winner in the international competition "University of the Year 2021", organized by the International Competition Committee (International Achievements Research Center (IARC), Montreal), in the nomination "Management and Leadership", which will increase academic competitiveness and attractiveness of the university in the national and international markets.

Grodno State Medical University was twice awarded the Grand Prix of the International Business Award "Leader of the Year" in the nomination "Education" (2021) for the high level of professional training of specialists, the introduction of modern educational technologies, the development of international cooperation and an effective management culture, in the nomination "Services in education” (2020) for success in training highly qualified specialists, the use of modern educational technologies, and a high management culture. In 2019, it became the winner and was awarded the title of laureate in the nomination "Educational Services" for the high level of training of medical specialists, the introduction of advanced technologies in education, and an impeccable business reputation.

In 2011 Grodno State Medical University was awarded the Prize of the Government of the Republic of Belarus for achievements in the field of quality.

In 2016 the University was awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus for its significant contribution to the implementation of the government social policy and training of highly qualified medical professionals. (issued by the by the Decision of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, March 01, 2017, No 171. and   approved  by the Committee for Awarding Prizes for Quality Assurance under the Government of the Republic  of Belarus  for prominent results in quality practices in 2016 (protocol No 07/15, 26.01.2017)).

Grodno State Medical University confirmed the title of Laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Republic of Belarus in the field of quality for 2019. The University was also awarded a special award in the nomination "Social Responsibility" - for running socially responsible business and creating conditions that ensure social security for all groups of stakeholders: staff, consumers, partners, society.
