Spring Olympiads for the second and third year international students

At the end of the IV^th semester, in June, 2026 the Department will hold the Intra-University Academic Competitions, Olympiads, for the second and third year international students during which the three winners will be nominated.

On the 1^st of June, 2026 at 4.00 p.m. the Olympiad on General Microbiology and Theoretical and Applied Medical Immunology will be arranged for the second-year international students.

On the 8^th of June, 2026 at 10.40 a.m. the Olympiad on Special Medical Microbiology and General and Special Medical Virology will be arranged for the third year international students (groups 25 and 26).

The Olympiads will be arranged in two tours.

The first tour will include answering the online Multiple Choice Questions on the corresponding sections of the subject. The aim of the first tour is to reveal the level of theoretical and practical skills knowledge of the students and to select the best ten ones, who will show the best ten results.  These students will be qualified to take part in the final (second) tour.

The second tour will include written answers on the special thinking questions of increased complexity and solving situational tasks that will include theoretical and practical parts of the study material. 

The first three winners (three second year and three third year students), who will show three best results at the second tour will be awarded with Honorary Diplomas of Winners and encouraged by bonuses at the final exam.
