Currently, the simulation training of students has been performed systematically. For its further development, the Ministry of Health Care of the Republic of Belarus will have allocated sufficient financial resources for the purchase of simulation equipment by 2020. A road map has been developed for this equipment. The laboratory occupies 3-stores building in Sverdlov str., 3. The total area of which is more than 1000 m2. Its repair will be carried out in 2019.
In this regard, it is planned to expand the staff of the practical training laboratory and hire up to 14 specialists. The laboratory staff includes engineers and technical personnel, which must ensure the work of high-tech equipment, repair and service in the training process.
Laboratory of Practical Training will be renamed to the Simulation Training Center. Not only the students of the medical university will be trained in this Center, but also the training and advanced training of the health professionals.
Practical training will be based on new principles:
- general software
- model scenarios of training programs on the STC server
- focus on results
- Continuation of simulation software
- accordance with international programs
- collaboration with the Center of Medical University and BelMAPO
- unified standards of simulation training
- passing the exams (according to the international system of the ESCO) with the subsequent work permission
- Analysis of the performance indicators of the TSS
- open system of interaction with the International Simulation Centers for practical training
- introduction of new innovative technologies.
