Indian Students Celebrated Holi

For the first time, the Indian National Union of our Faculty organized the Holi celebration. This is an ancient Hindu festival of spring and vibrant colors, symbolizing the victory of good over evil, spring over winter and the beginning of a new season. The main tradition of the celebration is the throwing of colored powders (gulal).

The festival began with sports competitions and continued with music and the throwing of colorful powders. Students of all National Unions were able to participate in the Holi celebration, following the Indian tradition. It was a time of common joy, singing and dancing, erasing social barriers.
