Meetings of the Medical Faculty for International Students

On February 23, 24 and 25, the now-traditional meetings of the Medical Faculty for International Students were held, attended by over 1000 students in total. The meeting was visited by officials and staff of the Dean’s office, representatives of migration services, as well as the Drug Control Department and the State Employment Service.

At the meetings, key achievements of the Faculty in academic, scientific and extra-curricular activities were presented and the main areas for improvement were identified. Special attention was paid to the most common offenses committed by foreign citizens, as well as measures taken to prevent them and consequences of violation of the Belarusian law.

Law enforcement officials also addressed the problem of drug trafficking. The representative of the State Employment Service introduced the students to employment opportunities for foreign citizens in the Republic of Belarus.
