Winter Indoor Sports Tournament (WIST' 23)

The Winter Indoor Sports Tournament (WIST' 23) among Sri-Lankan students was successfully held on January 30-31 and February 1-2.

The opening ceremony of the Winter Indoor Sports Tournament was held in the evening of January 30 at Sportzal near the Biology Building.  Vice Deans Zoya Petrovna and Nadeshja Alekseevna, Sport Teacher Y. A. Lapko, representatives of the Rec Campus, Hostel instructors Aleksandra Viktorovna participated as invited guests.  This was the first Winter Indoor Sports Tournament started with an opening ceremony.

Introducing the teams of the Indoor games ,  reading of the Oaths, and the entire sport event was full with various performances according to the names of the teams. The teams’ names were given according to 6 houses of the  Song of Ice and fire .The players of the teams “Stark”, “Baratheon”, “Martell” , “Targaryen”, “Velaryon” and “Lannister” participated in  WIST'23.

4th place- Velaryon

5th place- Baratheon

6th place- Martell
