The focus of researches is the rehabilitation of patients with a neurological and musculoskeletal system disease. Currently 5 Ph.D. theses are being prepared. 4 doctoral and 7 PhDs thesis have been defended. Employees of the department published more than 600 scientific publications on the taught discipline, including 4 monographes, 6 textbooks, one of which is in English. About 20 Republican scientific conferences were organized and held, including international participation.
