Ideological and educational work at the D.A. Maslakov Department of Pathological Physiology is carried out in accordance with a plan developed at the beginning of the academic year, approved at the department's regular meeting, and coordinated with the university's Department of Ideological and Educational Work with Youth.

Responsible for organizing ideological and educational work: senior lecturer S.V. Flurik.

The goal of ideological and educational work at the D.A. Maslakov Department of Pathological Physiology in the 2025-2026 academic year: conducting informational, ideological, and educational training for future young specialists.

Based on the goal, the following tasks have been defined:

  • to ensure that students are informed on the main issues of ideological and educational orientation in the Republic of Belarus;
  • to form in students a certain system of political, family values, civic-patriotic and professional self-awareness;
  • to instill in students the skills of cultural behavior and communication in the educational institution and beyond;
  • provide social and pedagogical support and the necessary psychological assistance to students;
  • to create conditions for the development of students’ creative abilities and their self-realization;
  • to form the foundations of a healthy lifestyle culture.

The main directions of ideological and educational work carried out at the department

Curatorial work

Faculty members of the D.A. Maslakov Department of Pathological Physiology, acting as curators of academic groups in the 2025-2026 academic year:

  • Lelevich A.V. – 5 LF and 6 LF 1 course

Every month, group curators inform students about the most pressing issues in the development of the Republic of Belarus and organize educational and mentoring hours.

On September 24, 2025, senior lecturer of the department Lelevich A.V. and supervised first-year students of groups 5 and 6 of the Faculty of Medicine visited the Youth Center of Grodno, where a screening of the film «Classroom» took place, timed to coincide with National Unity Day.

On February 23, 2026, Associate Professor of the Department A.V. Lelevich and supervised first-year students of groups 5 and 6 of the Faculty of Medicine visited the Krasnaya Zvezda cinema in Grodno, where they watched the film «Soul of the Defender», dedicated to the defenders of the Fatherland.

Conducting informational and educational events

In accordance with the approved plan, the department's faculty holds informational hours on various topics for students from the General Medicine, Pediatrics, Medical Psychology, Medical Diagnostics, and International Students departments. These events take the form of seminars, talks, discussions, and debates on current issues, with students preparing reports on important events in our country and abroad.

Topics covered during the informational and educational hours include foreign and domestic government policy, the latest world events, news on science, culture, education, healthcare, sports, as well as communication culture, fashion and style, family planning, and much more.

The issues of alcoholism, smoking and drug addiction among young people, AIDS prevention, cardiovascular disease prevention, «Respect for the state symbols of the Republic of Belarus (the State Flag, the State Emblem and the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus)», «Responsibility for registering on Internet resources recognized as extremist, and the dissemination of extremist materials on the global Internet» are widely covered.

Formation of professional skills

The department's faculty conducts orientation sessions to encourage active learning, engage students in purposefully organized activities that facilitate the realization of their intellectual, moral, creative, and physical potential, and help students understand the social significance of their future profession and engage in subsequent professional activities. The department systematically monitors students' academic performance and attendance.

2017 – Spartakiad «Employees of the UO GrSMU for a Healthy Lifestyle»: Dremza I.K. – 1st place (checkers); Khodosovsky M.N. – 1st place (darts), 3rd place (chess and checkers); Lelevich A.V. - 2nd place (volleyball and table tennis), Troyan E.I. - 2nd place (checkers).

2018 – Spartakiad «Employees of the UO GrSMU for a Healthy Lifestyle»: Dremza I.K. – 3rd place (checkers); Khodosovsky M.N. – 3rd place (chess and checkers); Lelevich A.V. - 2nd place (volleyball), 3rd place (table tennis).

2019 – Spartakiad «Employees of the UO GrSMU for a healthy lifestyle»: Dremza I.K. – 2nd place (checkers); Lelevich A.V. – 2nd place (volleyball).

2024 - Spartakiad «Employees of the UO GrSMU for a healthy lifestyle»: Dremza I.K. - 1st place (checkers); Khodosovsky M.N. - 2nd place (checkers).

2025 – Spartakiad «Health-2025»:

  • Associate Professor Dremza I.K. – 2nd place (checkers) among male faculty and staff of GrSMU; 
  • Professor Khodosovsky M.N. – 2nd place (chess) among male faculty and staff of GrSMU.
