University Structure Departments Department of General Medical Practice & Outpatient Therapy

The students of the 4th-, 5th-, and 6th-year (the Faculty of General Medicine and the Medical Faculty for International Students) and the students of the 5th-year (the Faculty of Medical Diagnostics) have an Out-Patient Therapy Training at the Department.

The Curriculum on Out-Patient Therapy includes various branches of Internal Medicine, such as Pulmonology, Cardiology, Rheumatology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, and Emergency Care in out-patient settings.

All practical classes, lectures and a list of taught practical skills for subinternship physicians are developed according to the Curriculum.

The staff of the Department have published 5 Handbooks, 7 Curricula with a course of lectures on Out-Patient Therapy, Optional Course on Gerontology and Geriatrics for the 4th-year students (the Faculty of General Medicine and the Medical Faculty for International Students), and Practical Training for the 4th-year students.
