Scientific research interests at the Department are devoted to the study of the profiled teaching of the social and human sciences at the medical university; socialization and life orientation of the medical students; actual problems of economic and social development and national liberation movement on different stages of the development of the Republic of Belarus. 20 Candidates’ theses have been defended and more than 500 research papers (11 authored monographs) have been published by the academic staff of the Department.
