26 may 2026 — 13:59

On May 21, the World Day of Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, the University hosted the “Dialogue of Cultures” event, aimed at strengthening tolerance and promoting cultural exchange.

As part of the “Dialogue of Cultures”, participant displayed authentic items, unique national costumes and traditional treats. Guests were particularly interested in the unusual master classes covering various techniques, including South Asian clothing draping methods (Osari and Sari), henna body painting (Mehndi), beadwork and coconut fiber weaving.

Each National Union also had the opportunity to perform creative dance items, while guests and participants of the “Dialogue of Cultures” were able to learn basic elements of traditional dances of different nations and cultures.

This day reminded us all of the importance of intercultural interaction for achieving peace and sustainable development. The event became yet another highlight of our University, bringing together traditions, customs and cultural heritage of different peoples.
