Dialogue platform «Women’s Reproductive Health: a Step toward Responsible Parenthood»

On April 1, a dialogue platform “Women’s Reproductive Health: a Step toward Responsible Parenthood” was organized for students of the Medical Faculty for International Students.

E.L. Savonevich, Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, provided a detailed discussion of factors in maintaining women’s health, namely sticking to good hygiene and giving up bad habits, as well as measures aimed at preventing STIs and proper planning (including the use of contraception to avoid abortions).

Special attention was paid to promptly seeking medical help and dangers of self-medication. Issues of prevention and early detection of cancer in women were also raised. Girls had the opportunity to ask long-standing questions and receive expert answers.
