GrSMU students became prize-winners of the international interuniversity online Olympiad in Russian as a foreign language

Russian language and Pedagogy Department of Kursk State Medical University hosted the annual international interuniversity online Olympiad on Russian as a foreign language "I live and Study in Russia, a multinational country" from April 20 to May 20, 2026.

The Olympiad was attended by foreign students studying at universities in Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Belarus. The representatives of Malaysia, Myanmar, India, Maldives, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and other countries also took part in the competition.

The participants were divided into two groups: students studying in English and students studying in Russian.

The students of GrSMU were among the winners in each group

Winners of section No. 1 (English-speaking students):

2nd place – Rizvi Zara (3rd year, group 2a).

3rd place – Yoosuf Irshaam Labeeb (2nd year, group 7a).

Laureates of the 2nd degree – Mariyam Mishka Mohamed Dhimhaam (2nd year, group 7a).

Winners of section No. 2 (Russian-speaking students):

1st place – Sopyyev Kerim (2nd year, group 13p).

The winner of the 1st degree is Hamrayeva Gozel (2nd year, group 1p).
