21 november 2025 — 12:53

On November 19, 2025, the National Festival of Creativity for International Students of higher educational institutions, “F-ART.BY-2025”, was held.

Our University received a Special Diploma (Grand Prix) from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus “For Effective Work in Multicultural Education of Youth through Artistic Creativity, Providing Conditions for Creative Self-realization of Young People”.

Our students also performed well in all nominated categories and were awarded First-class Diplomas in the “Commonwealth of Peace – Creative Cooperation” category (authors: Rizvi Zara, Sopyyev Kerim, Weerawardhana Dineth Achintha) and the “Music of the Belarusian Land – Music of Our Hearts” category (performers: Wijetunge Indusara, Weerasooriya Sithumi Nidesha, Koziakova Natalia, Nurnyyazov Bezirgen), as well as Second-class Diplomas in the “The Power of Youth: Creating Green Environment” category (Mathara Weerasingha Arachchige Ronesh) and “Timeless and Spaceless: Art Unites Peoples” category (Thakur Kareena Hareshsinh).

At the gala concert, our University was represented by amateur art groups of the Sri Lankan, Indian and Multinational Students Unions.

Moreover, our students participated in a dialogue platform joined by the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Andrei Ivanets. Jeyhun Ishangulyyev, the leader of the Multinational Students Union of Grodno State Medical University, noted in an interview with BELTA:

– This is the first event I’ve attended, but I can already say it’s organized at a high level. My vice-leader and I will be sharing information about the activities we’re holding to promote cultural exchange between Turkmen and Belarusian people. We participate in national and international conferences. We need to make our presence known in order to make a good impression on foreigners. In my opinion, Belarusians are very open and kind people. I’ve never noticed any discrimination based on nationality.

We express our gratitude to the Dean and the University administration for their support in participating in the National Festival “F-ART.BY-2025”.
