Due to frequent cases of money theft, the University’s administration urges its personnel and students to be more careful to preserve personal data safety and belongings and follow these steps:

  1. Do not allow spreading of your personal data, documents, and pictures on the Internet;
  2. Do not tell your bank cards information to strangers (that might pretend to be bank workers) via phone or online;
  3. Avoid making such contacts or having such conversations that might lead to money transfer to bank accounts or mobile phone numbers;
  4. Avoid making online purchases or sell online at places where it’s necessary to enter bank details or do it cautiously;
  5. Keep in mind the time period an item has been on the website, its low price, reliability of a website, positive reviews, correct address of the site, etc.
  6. To check bank card details which you will use to transfer money (sometimes it’s enough to enter phone number and name to see that that data have been used to steal money);
  7. Avoid transferring the full sum of the item you purchase on a prepayment basis and use only reliable methods of payment.
