Students from the Indian and Sri Lankan National Unions celebrated Navaratri

29 september 2025 — 11:26

On September 26, 2025, the students from the Indian and Sri Lankan National Unions celebrated Navaratri, a sacred holiday in Hinduism dedicated to the Divine Mother in her various forms, in two places at once (the Berezovy Rai farmstead and the sports hall at 81, Gorkogo str.).

This festival, which lasts for nine days (this year from September 22 to October 2), symbolizes the victory of good over evil, inner light over the darkness of egoism, and the highest divine wisdom over ignorance. The celebration includes not only prayers and symbolic offerings to the Goddess, but also the energetic Garba dance, which is performed in a circle until late at night, symbolizing unity and joy.

Distinguished guests were invited to the celebration, who shared with the students the joy of this special holiday.
