The Day of African Culture was held at Grodno State Medical University

On November 6, the Day of African Culture was held at Grodno State Medical University. Students from different countries of the African continent: Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Congo – came together to show that despite geographical distances, they share many common values and traditions.

The festive program was striking in its variety and energy. The central event, the "Mr. and Miss Africa" contest, became a real gem of the event. The participants impressed the audience in four categories: a spectacular fashion show; a presentation of their profession; an intellectual competition; and a striking appearance in national costumes with elements of traditional dance.

The audience gave an enthusiastic response, and the atmosphere was filled with genuine joy and pride for the talented participants. Following the results of an exciting competition, the winners were awarded with memorable gifts. And all the guests of the holiday had a special pleasure – tasting traditional African dishes, which allowed them to truly experience the richness and versatility of this culture.
