Ideological and educational work

An important place at the department is given to educational and ideological work. This is reflected in the holding of informational and educational hours in student groups, speeches in mass media (television, radio broadcasting, newspapers, magazines of the Republic of Belarus, lectures for the public), visits to student dormitories, participation in sports and mass events of the university, as well as rallies, actions dedicated to socially significant events of the state.

Ideological and educational work at the department of neurology and neurosurgery is carried out according to the plan drawn up and approved at the meeting of the department.

The plan defines the goals and objectives of educational work.

The main goal of the ideological and educational work at the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery is the education of a comprehensively developed, integral, responsible personality, possessing the patriotic and spiritual and moral values ​​of the Belarusian people, capable of adequately relating to the events taking place in the world and the country, cultural and scientific heritage and historical achievements.

Objectives of ideological and educational work at the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery:

• Formation of a conscious attitude to work as a personal and social value, awareness of professional choice and increase of students' motivation in the educational process;

• Creation of conditions for self-development of students, disclosure of their creative abilities in leisure, sports, youth public organizations;

• Developing in the student environment a sense of pride for one's country, homeland and people, the university, for the cultural and national achievements of our country, respect for its historical past;

• Formation in students of a certain system of political values, ideals and norms, knowledge and experience accumulated in society.
