Prof. Kulesh, Sergey Demyanovich

Kulesh Sergey Demyanovich was born on February 8, 1963, in Grodno.

Graduated from Grodno State Medical Institute (1986).

Intern in the Neurology Department of Grodno Regional Clinical Hospital (1986-1987).

Teacher at Slonim Medical College (1987-1988).

Clinical residency at the Department of Nervous Diseases of the GrSMU (1990-1992).

Assistant at the Department of Nervous Diseases of the GrSMU (1992-2000).

Associate Professor at the Department of Neurology (2000-2007).

Head of the Department of Neurology (2007 – present).

Achievements:

Candidate of Medical Sciences (Neuroactive Amino Acids in the Acute Period of Ischemic Stroke, 1997).

Doctor of Medical Sciences (Cerebral Stroke: Modern Approaches to Epidemiology, Diagnostics, Outcome Prediction, and Treatment, 2012). His research focuses on the problem of cerebral stroke.

S.D. Kulesh is the author of more than 130 published works, including a textbook approved by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, and a co-author of two standard educational programs.
