Yakubova Lyudmila Valerievna, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of General Medical Practice (GMP) and Outpatient Therapy of the Grodno State Medical University.
In 1998, she graduated with honors from the Grodno State Medical Institute, specializing in medical and preventive care.
From 1998 to 1999 - an intern in therapy at the 1st City Hospital of the Grodno Regional Medical Association No. 1.
From 1999 to 2001 - a resuscitator in the resuscitation and anesthesiology department of the 1st City Hospital of the Grodno Regional Medical Association No. 1.
From 2001 to 2005, she worked as a cardiologist in the cardiology department of the Grodno City Clinical Hospital No. 1.
From 2002 to 2006. completed postgraduate studies at the Department of Internal Medicine Propaedeutics, with full-time and part-time education.
From 2005 to 2008, she worked as the head of the cardiology department at City Clinical Hospital No. 3.
From August 2008 to the present, she has been the head of the Department of General Pulmonary Therapy and Outpatient Therapy.
Achievements:
In 2007, she defended her dissetation on the topic: "Oxygen transport function of blood and indicators of endothelial dysfunction in patients with angina pectoris under pathogenetic therapy" in the specialty 14.05.01 - cardiology.
In 2011, the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus awarded the academic title of associate professor.
In 2020, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic "Arterial hypertension and ischemic heart disease: the pathophysiological role of D-hypovitaminosis and polymorphism of the vitamin D receptor gene (clinical and experimental study)" in the specialty 14.01.05 - cardiology.
Under her sole supervision, 2 candidate dissertations were defended, she supervised 3 applicants.
She was the head or executor of several funded research projects:
1. "Develop and implement a method for treating ischemic heart disease and osteoporosis by influencing the general mechanisms of their development", state reg. No. 20112777, State Scientific and Technical Program "New Technologies for Diagnostics and Treatment", subprogram "Heart and Vessels", 2011-2013.
2. "Develop and implement a new method of secondary prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases due to vitamin D deficiency/insufficiency in individuals with arterial hypertension", state reg. No. 20131763, State Scientific and Technical Program "New Technologies for Diagnostics and Treatment", subprogram "Heart and Blood Vessels", 2013-2015.
3. "Identification of risk groups for vitamin D deficiency", state reg. No. 20143169, State Program for Scientific Research "Innovative Technologies in the Agro-Industrial Complex", 2013-2015 (subprogram 5 "Food Production Processes and Technologies").
4. "Study of the impact of palm oil on the health of the population of the Republic of Belarus and the establishment of acceptable medical and biological levels of palm oil consumption" under a separate project fundamental and applied scientific research under an agreement with the Republican Unitary Enterprise "Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Food" (2017-2018).
5. Grant of the President of the Republic of Belarus (2019) for the development and implementation in general medical practice of recommendations for identifying risk factors, diagnosing and correcting D-hypovitaminosis, the use of which will help improve the primary prevention of vitamin D-associated diseases in residents of the Republic of Belarus (Order of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 4rp dated January 8, 2019).
6. "Develop new types of chocolate products enriched with protein, calcium and vitamin D, ensuring an improved balanced diet for preschool and school-age children" of the Scientific and Technical Program "Baby Food. Quality and Safety" for 2016-2020.
7. Research work on the cross-border cooperation project No. RVI 1/0326/16 "Model of a medical program to combat osteoporosis in the Polish-Belarusian borderland" (2018-2021).
8. . "Develop and implement a method for assessing the risk of development and progression of atrial fibrillation in patients with arterial hypertension", State Scientific and Technical Program "Scientific and Technical Support for the Quality and Availability of Medical Services" subprogram "Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery" (2021-2025).
He is the author of 345 publications, including 18 educational and methodological works (including 7 teaching aids, two of which are in English, two of which are approved by the UMO) and 289 scientific papers. Over the past 3 years, 44 publications have been published, including 20 articles in scientific journals from the List of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus (including 5 in single authorship) and in foreign journals, сo-author of the article quoted in Scopus, 1 monograph published alone. Author of 2 patents for inventions, 7 instructions for use, 42 implementation certificates, 16 rationalization proposals.
At a high professional level, she gives lectures and conducts classes corresponding to the profile of the specialty "clinical medicine" for students of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Foreign Students with English as the language of instruction in the disciplines "Outpatient Therapy", "General Medical Practice". At the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining, she successfully conducts advanced training and retraining courses for general practitioners, district therapists, and therapists. Under her leadership, 757 doctors have been trained at the department.
L.V. Yakubova is a member of the board of the Belarusian Public Association on Arterial Hypertension, a member of the board of the Belarusian Society of General Practitioners, a member of the European Society of Hypertension, a member of the Belarusian Scientific Society of Cardiologists, a member of the Belarusian League for Combating High Blood Pressure, a member of the Belarusian Society of Therapists, a member of the Eurasian Arrhythmological Association, a member of the Belarusian Association of Doctors, and a member of the Belarusian Union of Women.
Initiated the conclusion of 6 cooperation agreements with universities and research institutes in other countries. In order to improve the qualifications of doctors, she has repeatedly acted as the organizer of Republican, regional, city conferences and seminars, including those with international participation.
