Ideological and educational work at the department is carried out in accordance with the developed plan, approved at a meeting of the department and agreed with the department of educational work with young people of the university.

The purpose of ideological and educational work at the Department of Pharmacology named after prof. M.V. Korablyova: conducting informational, educational and ideological training of future young specialists.

Based on the goal, the following tasks have been defined:

1. to ensure that students are informed on the main issues of ideological and educational orientation in the Republic of Belarus;

2. to form in students a certain system of political, family values, civic-patriotic and professional self-awareness;

3. to instill in students the skills of cultural behavior and communication in the educational institution and beyond;

4. to conduct social and pedagogical support and provide the necessary psychological assistance to students;

5. to create conditions for the development of students' creative abilities and their self-realization;

6. to form the foundations of a healthy lifestyle culture.

Curatorial work

The teachers of the department (Krukovskaya E.Yu., Gubarevich I.E. and Vasilyuk A.A.) act as curators of study groups. Curators hold weekly information sessions and monthly curatorial hours, where they discuss issues in all areas of educational work, accompany students to university and city events, visit dormitories and organize film screenings in city cinemas.

Conducting information and educational events

In accordance with the approved plan, the department holds information and educational hours with students of all faculties. These events are held in the form of seminars, talks, discussions, discussions of current issues, students prepare reports on memorable events and dates in the history of our state, discussions are held on issues of preventing bad habits, forming a healthy lifestyle, family and gender education, etc.

The department holds discussions on stimulating active learning, involving students in scientific activities, helping students to understand the social significance of their future profession and to become involved in subsequent professional activities. Active teaching methods are actively used to help implement a whole range of tasks: increasing motivation and interest in learning, communication skills, organizing leisure time, and developing professional competencies. An example of such an active method is the educational game "Pharmacon".
