Themes of the department's research over the past 10 years:

1. Jointly with the Central Research Laboratory and the departments of the university, research was conducted aimed at developing a cytoprotector and corrector of the metabolism of epithelial tissues "taucine" (01.2011 - 12.2019) within the framework of the State Scientific and Technical Program "Pharmaceutical substances and drugs".

2. Interdepartmental research was carried out on the topic of "Hepato- and nephroprotective properties of a combination of zinc with taurine" (state registration No. 20142466 dated 6.10.2014; 2014 - 2018). 3. Departmental research "Analgesic properties of new piperidine derivatives with substitutions in positions 1 and 4" (2017 - 2018).

4. "Study of analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties of new piperidine derivatives with substitutions in positions 1 and 4" (2019-2021).

5. "Anxiolytic and nootropic properties of new piperidine and morpholine derivatives" 2021-2024).
