Ideological and educational work

Ideological and educational work at the department is carried out in accordance with the plan approved at the meeting of the department and agreed with the Department of educational work with youth of the University.

The person responsible for the organization of ideological and educational work is Associate Professor O.I. Leve.

The education of a socially adapted, well-rounded and morally mature, highly professional creative personality is the goal of the ideological and educational work of the department.

The main directions of ideological and educational work carried out at the department:

• Conducting informational and educational hours with students: discussing current issues, events that have occurred in our country and abroad, in the form of seminars, discussions, conversations, as well as ethical standards of behavior, existing rules of procedure and behavior at the department, the main provisions of the Student's Corporate Culture Code, etc.
• Curatorial activities with students of the I-II courses: teachers of the department act as curators of academic groups (Drichits O.A., Leontyuk E.V.).
• Involvement of students in research activities: direct participation in meetings of the student scientific circle (led by L.S. Kizyukevich) helps to broaden horizons, consolidate and deepen knowledge gained in the learning process, as well as the formation of a scientific worldview and interest in medical sciences. The results of scientific research carried out by students are presented at student scientific and practical conferences in the country and abroad.
• Educational work with students of the preparatory department and among students of the city's schools: promotion of a healthy lifestyle; formation of responsibility for both the environment and oneself; development of leadership qualities, an active personal and social position.
• Formation of professional skills: conducting adaptive conversations on the formation of moral and value orientations, stimulating active learning activities, awareness of the importance of the future profession, as well as the requirements necessary for the social and professional development of a future specialist.
• Media appearances: articles in the newspaper GrSMU "Aesculapius" and others.
• Participation in sports and mass events of the university.
