Representatives of GrSMU visited India on a working visit

From August 22 to 28, the University delegation consisting of the Dean of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining, associate professor Andrei Romanovich Plotski and the Vice-dean of the Medical Faculty for International Students, associate professor Liudmila Nikolaevna Gushchyna made an official visit to India at the invitation of the Om Educon company to attract Indian applicants to our University. 

In accordance with the visit program, three seminars were held, attended by a total of approximately 600 people. At the seminars, presentations about our University, its achievements, first-year admission requirements and education and living conditions were demonstrated. 

The seminars were held in three major cities in Gujarat – Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Surat. There also were meetings with the graduates of the University from various years, as well as with current students and their parents. The graduates spoke at the seminars and recalled the University and teaching staff with great warmth and gratitude. They truly consider their years at the University wonderful and really miss Belarus. 

As a result of negotiations and taking into account the University’s capabilities, it was agreed that up to 100 Indian students could be admitted to the first year.
