Title, degree - associate professor, candidate of medical sciences.

1977 - 1983 - student of the medical faculty of the Educational Institution "Grodno State Medical Institute".

1983 - 1984 - teacher of pharmacology at the Mozyr Medical School.

1983 - 1984 - therapist in the clinic and ambulance doctor in Mozyr (part-time).

1984 - 2000 - assistant of the pharmacology department of the Educational Institution "Grodno State Medical University".

Associate Professor of the pharmacology department of the Grodno State Medical University (with 2000).

Dissertation on the topic "Anti-arrhythmic activity of some new decahydroquinoline derivatives" was defended at the Yaroslavl Medical Institute (Russia) (1990). Awarded the degree of candidate of medical sciences.

 

Achievements:

Received grants from the Organizing Committees of congresses for work on clinical pharmacology for participation in international congresses on clinical pharmacology in Argentina (1996), Germany (1997), Italy (2000), USA (2002). At international congresses on clinical pharmacology in Argentina (1996) and the USA (2002), he was the only representative of the Republic of Belarus and the only participant from the CIS who received a travel grant.

Representative from Belarus at the founding congress of the International Society for Addiction Medicine (ISAM, center - Calgary, Canada), held in the USA, (1999).

Research interests: antiarrhythmic activity of new organic synthesis products and medicinal plants, pharmacoepidemiological and pharmacoeconomic studies of drugs (mainly cardiological).

He is the author of more than 150 published works (journals of the Republic of Belarus, Russia, Polish Journal of Pharmacology, Progress in Health Science, collections of scientific articles, abstracts of conferences in the CIS and far abroad) and 2 patents.

The author of the book (textbook/reference book) “Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy”, known not only in Belarus but also in Russia, which has gone through 9 editions over two decades.

He has repeatedly and regularly completed advanced training courses at the state educational institution “Republican Institute of Higher Education” and BelMAPO.

He has repeatedly participated in intra-university, republican and international conferences.
