Title, degree – associate professor, doctor of biological sciences.

1983-1989 – student of the medical faculty of the educational institution “Grodno State Medical University”.

1989-1999 – assistant of the pharmacology department of the educational institution “Grodno State Medical University”.

In 1997 he defended his candidate’s dissertation on the topic “Antihypoxic properties of new derivatives of piperidine and decahydroquinoline”. He was awarded the academic degree of candidate of medical sciences.

1999-2009 – senior lecturer of the pharmacology department of the educational institution “Grodno State Medical University”.

2009-2014 – Associate Professor of the Pharmacology Department of the Grodno State Medical University.

In 2010, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.

From 2014 to the present – ​​Head of the Pharmacology Department named after Professor M.V. Korablyov of the Grodno State Medical University.

In 2015, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Humoral mechanisms of endothelium-dependent regulation of coronary blood flow".

 

Achievements:

Author of more than 140 scientific and educational works, 2 patents. The main areas of scientific interests are endothelial pharmacology, neuropharmacological properties of new heterocyclic compounds, pharmacogenetics. In 2001-2003. completed a scientific internship in cardiovascular pharmacology at the Department of Pharmacology of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland).

Supervised 3 completed master's theses. Under his supervision, a number of student research papers were completed, 5 of which were awarded the 1st category based on the results of the Republican competition of scientific papers of students of higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus.

He was the head of a number of research projects at the Department of Pharmacology named after Professor M.V. Korablyov, including 3 successfully completed funded research projects within the framework of international cooperation. In 2021-2023, he participated in the funded research project "Pharmacological and genetic aspects caused by the role of the renin-angiotensin system in the pathogenesis of infections caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus" (BRFFR project, funding amount - 35,400 rubles, supervisor - prof. N.V. Matievskaya).

He has repeatedly participated in intra-university, republican and international scientific conferences. In January 2023, he organized a scientific and practical conference "Topical issues of pharmacology and pharmacotherapy" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Professor M.V. Korablyov.

He was the author of a number of textbooks approved by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, incl. of the textbook "Fundamentals of Pharmacology" for students with English as the language of instruction (2022).
